MOLVAL FORT®, a unique formula
Liposolubilized monacolin K
Monacolin K is naturally present in red yeast rice. The Molval® Fort formula features the solubilization of monacolin K in omega-3-rich fish oil (EPA/DHA).
This innovative process, developed by Laboratoire Dielen, facilitates monacolin K absorption. Liposolubilized monacolin K can then be absorbed via the lipid absorption pathway.
The nutritional complex
Molval® Fort combines certain nutrients such as omega-3 which contribute to normal heart function.
The formula contains coenzyme Q10 or Ubiquinone. It is also liposolubilized in fish oil.
EPA and DHA omega-3 fish oils are selected for their nutritional qualities.
A formula based on science
The components of the Molval® Fort formula have historically been studied.
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) help maintain normal blood triglyceride levels. The beneficial effect is obtained by consuming 2 g of EPA and DHA per day.
EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function. The beneficial effect is obtained by consuming 250 mg of EPA and DHA daily.
The Molval® Fort formula has benefited from a clinical study carried out in doctors' surgeries in France.
Health claim
*EPA and DHA help maintain normal blood triglyceride levels. The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 2 g of EPA and DHA. Consumption should not exceed 5 g per day of EPA and DHA combined.

Health benefits :
The benefits of monacolin K
Derived from a microscopic fungus(monascus purpureus), monacolin K is traditionally used in Chinese medicine.
Numerous scientific studies have demonstrated the effects of monacolin K from red yeast rice. A dose of less than 3 mg/day is now authorized in food supplements.
Omega-3 and cardiovascular health
Theeffect of omega-3 on heart health is well established scientifically. These properties are explained by their action on blood triglycerides, blood pressure and heart function.
The properties of coenzyme Q10
Similar in chemical structure to vitamin K, coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is produced naturally by the body. It is present in almost all cells. It is involved in the cellular Krebs cycle.

Science: Scientific proof of Laboratoire Dielen
Red yeast rice is a microscopic fungus grown on rice. This micro-organism produces a characteristic red pigment that gives the yeast its name. Dried and reduced to powder, yeast is used as a colorant in a variety of food preparations.
Red yeast rice contains monacolins, including monacolin K.
European regulations limit the dose of monacolin k in food supplements to less than 3 mg per day for an adult. This supplementation is accompanied by the above-mentioned recommendations for use.
The body naturally produces CoQ10 according to its needs. It is therefore not considered an essential nutrient. No recommended daily intake has been determined.
However, some studies have shown that with age, the body produces less and less Co Q10.
Cardiovascular disease is the second leading cause of death in France. Since the major observational studies, we know that a diet rich in omega-3 (fish and seafood) contributes to cardiovascular protection.
Other scientific data have also shown that consumption of omega-3 fatty acids contributes to :
- Maintenance of normal blood pressure at a dose of 250 mg EPA and DHA per day
- A reduction in blood triglycerides at a dose of 2 g/day.
From Omega-3 garas (EPA), the body produces important mediators that regulate important biological and physiological functions in our health. Leukotrienes, prostaglandins, prostacyclins and thromboxanes regulate inflammatory response, platelet aggregation and coagulation, and vasodilation, respectively.
On the other hand, other mediators obtained from omega-6 fatty acids (arachidonic acid) have antagonistic effects. That's why it's important to have a good balance between omega-6 and omega-3 intake.
Omega-3 EPA and DHA from fish oil help :
- normal heart function. The beneficial effect is obtained by consuming 250 mg of EPA and DHA per day.
- maintaining normal blood pressure at a dose of 2 g EPA and DHA per day
- maintaining normal triglyceride levels in the blood. The beneficial effect is obtained by daily consumption of 2 g of EPA and DHA.
