In 45 years, Dielen has become the French specialist in bioactive marine peptides. Marine peptides are small proteins characterized by their small size. They are also known as low molecular weight peptides. These small proteins, composed of two to twenty amino acids, are obtained through natural enzymatic hydrolysis processes, a method developed and patented by Dielen.
The marine peptides resulting from the laboratory's research have two main characteristics:
The marine active ingredients of Laboratoire Dielen have been subjected to in vitro and in vivo tests to evaluate and control their bioactivities.
Laboratoire Dielen marine peptides are produced in Brittany from co-products (elements not used by the food industry) of everyday fish selected for their protein content.
These fish are not caught specifically for Laboratoire Dielen. On the contrary, the laboratory uses certain by-products to extract bioactive marine peptides.
The fishery resources of the selected species are not under threat, as they are controlled by European regulations based on quotas that safeguard their renewal.
The laboratory's research is the source of 7 innovation patents on marine peptides. This unique expertise has led to the creation of two families of marine active ingredients exclusive to the Dielen range: the Gabolysat® family and the Promerim® family.
Gabolysat® marine bioactive peptides, the result of research by teams at Laboratoire Dielen and INSERM (Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale) in Caen and Lille, have demonstrated their health benefits in numerous studies, including two published in international journals.
These marine peptides make up the formulas for Magzen®, Mémozan® Nutrissome®SPand Molval®. These nutritional complexes have also been tested in nine clinical trials.
Promerim® Chondro and Promerim® Cica collagen peptides are the fruit of decades of research and exchanges between Laboratoire Dielen and several university research centers specializing in collagen and cartilage.
The choice of fish used (season of harvest, area of collection) and unique, patented manufacturing processes give Promerim® its distinctive nutritional and biological properties, thanks in particular to its efficacy at low doses.
Promerim® Cica and Promerim® Chondro collagen peptides are manufactured in Brittany, in compliance with ISO 22000 standards.
The Promerim® family focuses primarily on joints and tissues. It comprises several products: Ostéocalm® (joint comfort), Ostéocalm® Gel (joint and muscle pain) and Dielen® Collagen (skin and tissue health),
These marine active ingredients have been the subject of numerous scientific studies, including twenty-four in vitro studies and two clinical studies published in international journals.
What's the point of taking dietary supplements if their nutrients are destroyed by stomach acid? In response to this problem, Laboratoire Dielen has developed a unique film-coating process that enhances the digestive comfort andefficacy of its formulas.
Of natural origin, with no chemical additives, it delays capsule opening and allows nutrients to be released into the intestine, promoting their absorption by the body.
To reconcile innovation with the scientific rigor of clinical trials, Laboratoire Dielen works with teams from academic and university research laboratories in Normandy and more widely in France. Our scientific partners have enabled us toinnovate and scientifically demonstrate the benefits of our innovations.
To formulate certain nutritional complexes, Laboratoire Dielen has also been able to call on the support of renowned health professionals, who have placed their trust in us.
