MÉMOZAN®, a unique formula
Bioactive peptides, Gabolysat® Angio
This marine active ingredient developed by Laboratoire Dielen is produced in Brittany from fish caught in France using a patented process.
Ce procédé original coupe les protéines marines en petits peptides de Bas Poids Moléculaires (BPM). Grace à leurs petites tailles (< 1500 Daltons), les peptides de bas poids moléculaire peuvent être absorbés par l’organisme.
These peptides are bioactive because they are bioavailable. The properties of these marine peptides have been highlighted by several scientific studies carried out in collaboration with French university research centers.
To produce Gabolysat® Angio peptides, Laboratoire Dielen has selected everyday fish species whose fishing resources are not threatened. Their sustainable fishing is controlled by European regulations. These fish are not caught specifically for the Dielen laboratory; on the contrary, the laboratory valorizes certain by-products to extract bioactive marine peptides.
Gabolysat® Angio bioactive peptides are exclusive to the Dielen range
Omega-3 DHA
Omega-3s are essential fatty acids. The omega-3s present in fish are mainly EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).
Mémozan® contains mainly omega-3 DHA. DHA is also known as cervonic acid, due to its high concentration in the brain. It plays an essential role in brain health. In particular, DHA contributes to normal brain function, as well asnervous and psychologicalbalance.
DHA supplementation can be useful, astoday's diet is often deficient in omega-3.
Omegaavie® quality fish oil comes from small blue fish (herring, mackerel, sardines) caught according to eco-responsible fishing standards. This omega-3-rich fish oil is certified by the "Friend of the Sea" organization, which guarantees its origin and traceability.
This oil is concentrated in omega-3. Omega-3 dosage and stability are guaranteed. It is also purified and checked for possible contaminants such as dioxins and heavy metals.
The nutritional complex
Mémozan® combines the bioactive marine peptides Gabolysat® Angio, with omega-3 DHA and EPA and vitamins from the B and E groups.
Vitamins B2, B5, B6 and B9 help reduce fatigue. They are co-factors in the production of cellular energy (ATP).
Vitamin E is an antioxidant. It helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
Dielen gastro-protective film coating
Mémozan® capsules benefit from Dielen film coating, which protects the nutrients from gastric acidity by delaying their release into the intestine. The coating uses no chemical additives, only gums of natural origin.
Health benefits :
The benefits of omega-3
Omega-3 DHA and EPA are essential fatty acids. They must be supplied in the diet. Their properties are as follows.
- Cardiovascular health: EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function. The beneficial effect is obtained by consuming 250 mg of EPA and DHA daily.
- Vision : DHA helps maintain normal vision.
- Brain : DHA contributes to normal brain function.
The role of DHA on memory and concentration
The brain is 60% made up of fats such as DHA. Also known as cervonic acid, DHA integrates the phospholipid membranes of neurons.
Group B vitamins
B vitamins are cofactors in the production of cellular energy (ATP). They cannot be stored in the body, so they must be supplied daily by our diet.
Vitamins B2, B5, B6 and B9 help reduce fatigue.
Vitamin E
Of plant origin, vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant. It helps protect cells against oxidative stress.
Nutrients also beneficial during pregnancy
Omega-3s are also essential for pregnant women, as they contribute to fetal brain development. A child's cerebral development begins as early as the3rd week of pregnancy.
The brain undergoes its most rapid development from the fetal stage until the age of 2. It continues into adolescence.
DHA plays a role in the normal development of the brain, nerve tissue and vision of the baby at the level of retinal formation.
These needs are also met by nursing mothers, whose breast milk is particularly rich in DHA.

Science:
Intellectual vitality defines a good state of the intellect and mental faculties.
Memory problems, learning difficulties and loss of concentration can occur at any age. Certain nutrients play a role in maintaining cognitive function.
The human nervous system is made up of around 100 billion neurons, which communicate with each other via nerve impulses and neurotransmitters. These neurotransmitters influence concentration, memory, mood and sleep. They include noradrenalin, acetylcholine and dopamine. These neurotransmitters are produced by the body from certain nutrients.
The brain needs glucose to provide the energy required for neuronal function. It also needs lipids, which form part of the membranes. Finally, it needs proteins, which are metabolized into the amino acids required to produce certain neurotransmitters.
DHA accounts for around 20% of fatty acids in the brain.
DHA contributes to normal brain function, as well as nervous and psychological balance. It contributes to retinal formation and visual development.
As we age, DHA content in the brain decreases. Seniors and the elderly are the first to be affected by the effects of aging on brain function.
Intellectual fatigue is wear and tear on the brain's ability to adapt, caused by overexposure to various stimuli or constant pressure. The brain, constantly stimulated and unable to rest, can no longer mobilize itself, resulting in mental fatigue that can lead to overwork.
There are many causes of mental fatigue, including family situations and work overload. It's important to react quickly and remove the stressor. The following measures are also recommended:
- Include regular rest periods
- Consult your GP or talk to a healthcare professional about your fatigue,
- Regular physical activity
- Practice relaxation activities
- Balancing your diet
Vitamins are substances with no energetic value, yet essential to the body. With the exception of vitamins K and D, all vitamins must be supplied by the diet.
Thirteen vitamin families are defined and classified into two categories:
- Fat-soluble vitamins (which can dissolve in fats): A, D, E and K. Stored in adipose tissue (D, E) and in large quantities in the liver (A), their capacity to be accumulated by the body leads to a risk of overdosage,
- Water-soluble vitamins (which dissolve in water) from the B group (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B8, B9 and B12) and C. They can be stored, but the risk of overdosing is low, as they are eliminated in the urine.
Vitamins are involved in numerous biological functions that build, function and maintain the body.

The European scientific agency EFSA has published a report on the possibility of adverse effects from excessive omega-3 consumption. It identifies a safe level of intake.
Scientists have concluded that dietary omega-3 intake of up to 5g per day is safe.
Particular vigilance is required for high EPA/DHA dosages in excess of 3 g per day, when combined with antiaggregants and anticoagulants. However, these dosages are not those of Memozan®.
The vitamins present in Memozan® have a nutritional dosage defined according to the NRVs (Nutritional Reference Values). So there's no risk of overdosing at the recommended dose.
