Marine collagen peptides, Promerim® Chondro
A product of Laboratoire Dielen research, this hydrolyzed marine collagen is produced in Brittany from a selection of fish caught in the North Atlantic. The original production process is patented by Laboratoire Dielen. It produces small collagen peptides known as "Low Molecular Weight" (LMW). These peptides weigh less than 1500 daltons.
These BPM collagen peptides have special properties because they are bioavailable, i.e. assimilable by the body. Their properties have been studied in studies published in scientific journals.

Laboratoire Dielen has selected everyday fish species whose resources are not threatened. Their sustainable fishing in France is controlled by European regulations. These fish are not caught specifically for this production. Instead, Laboratoire Dielen extracts bioactive collagen peptides from certain collagen-rich by-products.
An active complex from 2 tablets a day
Osteocalm® and Dielen® Collagen are the only dietary supplements made with PROMERIM® collagen peptides. Several studies have demonstrated their benefits with a daily intake of 1 to 2 tablets. This sets them apart from other collagen powders packaged in jars or sachets, which often require higher, more expensive doses. Collagen is our body's most abundant protein. It accounts for 30% of total proteins in the human body. It's a protein naturally present in skin, tendons, bones, cartilage and ligaments. This protein ensures maintenance and solidity.
There are around 20 types of collagen in the human body, 3 of which are predominant in the organism:
- Type I collagen, found in tendons, bones, skin, ligaments and corneas.
- Type II collagen, found in cartilage.
- Type III collagen, found in muscles, internal organs and vessel walls.
Collagen is a large protein made up of 3 polypeptide chains. It cannot be assimilated in its present state.
Hydrolyzed collagen (HC), or collagen hydrolysate, is produced by hydrolysis. This process, which uses water and food enzymes, cuts the large collagen protein into segments called peptides.
The size and molecular weight of the segments or peptides depend on the hydrolysis process used. Peptides can be of varying sizes.
The "gentle" hydrolysis process developed by the Dielen laboratory produces small collagen peptides known as low molecular weight (LMW). Various scientific studies show that BPM collagen peptides are bioavailable and assimilable as they are.
