OSTÉOCALM® GEL, a unique formula

Marine collagen peptides, Promerim® Chondro

This marine active ingredient is the result of Laboratoire Dielen research. It is produced in Brittany from a selection of fish caught in the North Atlantic.

The process developed and patented by Laboratoire Dielen produces small collagen peptides known as Very Low Molecular Weight (VLMW ). Their weight is less than 1500 daltons. They are therefore composed of 2 to 15 amino acids.

These TBPM collagen peptides have special properties because they are bioavailable, i.e. assimilable by the body. Their properties have been studied historically in studies published in scientific journals.

Promerim® collagen peptides® Chondro collagen peptides differ from other collagens in their :

  • geographical origin: French (Brittany)
  • marine origin: selections of wild fish species
  • structure: low molecular weight (LMW) collagen peptides
  • production process: patented gentle hydrolysis
  • bioactivity: joint studies

Laboratoire Dielen has selected everyday fish species whose resources are not threatened. Their sustainable fishing in France is controlled by European regulations. These fish are not caught specifically for this production. Instead, Laboratoire Dielen extracts bioactive collagen peptides fromcertain collagen-rich by-products.

The effectiveness of cryotherapy

Ostéocalm® Gel combines the effectiveness of collagen peptides with that of cryotherapy thanks to plant menthol.

Ostéocalm® gel provides a sensation of relief and comfort thanks to its cooling effect:

  • Rapid endothermic evaporation.
  • Prolonged by stimulating cold sensitivity with menthol.

Health benefits :

The properties of menthol

Menthol's cooling effect provides comfort according to the principle of cryotherapy.

Menthol drains, refreshes and decongests. It is therefore used in many treatments for heavy, swollen legs for immediate comfort. It is also a "cold effect" painkiller, acting on muscle and joint pain.

This active ingredient is used in particular by athletes, during the recovery phase, to relieve muscular tension.

Soothes & Refreshes

The gel is a complementary solution to the tablets Ostéocalm® tablets tablets to locally soothe sensations of overheating.

The science behind it: Osteocalm® Gel - The scientific evidence of Laboratoire Dielen

The clinical study presented below compares the cold effect of menthol with that of ice. It demonstrates the benefits of menthol in reducing the intensity of muscle contracture pain (VAS test).
