DIELEN® ACTIBASE, a unique formula

A basifying complex of marine and mineral origin

The original Dielen® Actibase formula is distinguished by its mineral and marine complex, combining citrates and carbonates. This complex combines essential trace elements:

  • Zinc, recognized for its role in thebody's acid-base balance
  • Potassium
  • Magnesium
  • Marine calcium, derived from Lithothamnium seaweed.

Promerim® marine bioactive peptides

Promerim® bioactive marine collagen peptides are small proteins resulting from Laboratoire Dielen research. Exclusive to the Dielen range, these peptides are characterized by their very low molecular weight, which gives them nutritional and biological properties.

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 plays a key role in energy metabolism and helps reduce fatigue. It is often combined with magnesium for its synergistic action.

Synergy of components

Dielen® Actibase combines a trace element-rich mineral complex with Promerim® marine bioactive peptides, for a comprehensive approach to acid-base balance.

Dielen gastro-protective film coating

Dielen® Actibase tablets benefit from a film coating developed by Laboratoire Dielen. This protects the nutrients from gastric acidity by delaying their release into the intestine. The film coating uses no chemical additives, only gums of natural origin.

Dielen® Actibase: "The natural foundation of your health

Dielen® Actibase nutritional complex is recommended forlatent acidosis, thanks in particular to its high zinc citrate content. Zinc contributes to thebody's acid-base balance.

Understanding acid-base balance

Acid-base balance is essential for the body to function properly. It relies on fine regulation of blood and tissue pH, influenced by our diet, lifestyle and metabolism. A diet rich in acidifying foods (red meats, processed foods, coffee, soft drinks, etc.), stress and intense physical activity can alter this balance. When the intake of acidifying substances is too high, or when compensation mechanisms are overwhelmed, the body can enter a state known as latent acidosis.

Although the body sets up adaptation mechanisms, a prolonged acid-base imbalance can be associated with a variety of discomforts: persistent fatigue, increased muscular sensitivity, brittle bones, digestive discomfort, stiff joints, fragile skin (hair and nails), sensitive mucous membranes, etc.

Taking care of your acid-base balance

Anunbalanced diet, chronic stress, excess weight or inappropriate physical activity can all lead to latent acidosis in the body. This can unbalance organ function. There are simple hygienic and dietary measures to help the body maintain its acid-base balance. You'll find these recommendations below in the "Science" section .

Potassium, magnesium and zinc citrates

Dielen® Actibase contains citrates, mineral forms that are well assimilated by the body. Unlike other mineral salts, citrates are considered alkalinizing.

  • Zinc contributes to normal acid-base metabolism.
  • Magnesium and potassium are essential minerals involved in many physiological processes.

Marine calcium from lithothamnion

Lithothamnion is a seaweed naturally rich in calcium, a mineral essential for healthy muscles and bones.

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 contributes to normal energy metabolism and helps reduce fatigue.

This combination of ingredients makes Dielen® Actibase part of a holistic approach to well-being, complementing a Mediterranean-style diet and healthy lifestyle.

Science:

Acid-base balance is the regulation of blood and tissue pH, essential to the body's proper functioning.

Ideally, the pH of the blood is maintained at around 7.4 thanks to buffer systems (respiratory, renal, blood). An excessively acidifying diet, stress or an unsuitable lifestyle can lead to latent acidosis, a state in which the body progressively accumulates too many acids. Although not pathological in the short term, this situation can disrupt certain metabolic functions, notably by affectingmineral balance and muscle function. Over the long term, excess acidity can lead to reduced bone density, increased fatigue, weakened natural defenses and fragile mucous membranes and skin (hair and nails).

The diagram opposite explains the causes and risk factors of latent acidosis and its consequences on the functioning of the body's main organs.

Diet plays a key role in pH regulation. Foods are classified according to their potential renal acid load (PRAL), an index that measures their acidifying or alkalinizing effect after digestion. Today, our modern diet is largely dominated by acidifying foods, such as processed products, meats, refined cereals and soft drinks. This imbalance overloads the kidneys and disrupts the body, which must constantly compensate for this excess acidity. It is therefore essential to rebalance our diet by integrating more basifying foods.

An imbalance can overload the kidneys and upset the body. Adopting a diet richer in basifying foods helps compensate for excess acidity and maintain an optimal pH.

Here is a non-exhaustive list ofacidifying and basifying foods:

  • A balanced diet :
    • Eat a Mediterranean-style diet
    • Avoid overly restrictive diets
    • Favour low-temperature cooking
  • L'hydration :
    • Drink bicarbonate-rich mineral water frequently
    • Limit alcohol, coffee, soft drinks and salt
  • L'health practices :
    • Smoking cessation
    • Managing stress (ventral breathing, relaxation, sophrology, mindfulness)
    • Maintaining quality sleep
  • L'physical activity :
    • Regular, adapted aerobic physical activity
    • Encouraging outdoor activities
    • Facilitate perspiration (sauna, hammam)
    • Work on breathing and oxygenation
  • Micronutrition & digestive health :
    • Avoid vitamin, mineral, antioxidant and omega-3 deficiencies (ALA, EPA, DHA)
    • Monitoring and correcting vitamin D deficiency
    • Using probiotics for dysbiosis
    • Promote liver detoxification

Lithothamnion is a small calcareous seaweed found on the seabed. Rich in marine calcium, it has excellent bioavailability.

Unlike conventional calcium sources, the calcium present in lithothamnion is naturally associated with other essential trace elements (magnesium, iron, iodine), favoring optimal absorption and better digestive tolerance. Its high carbonate content also gives it a natural capacity to neutralize acids, reinforcing its role in acid-base balance.

Calcium and vitamin B6 contribute to normal energy metabolism.

*Zinc contributes to the body's acid-base balance.

Frequently asked questions

The minerals in Dielen® Actibase are in the form of citrates (potassium citrate, magnesium citrate, zinc citrate), a highly bioavailable form. Unlike carbonates or oxides, citrates are better assimilated by the body and have the advantage of not generating digestive side effects such as bloating or constipation.
